The world's largest car rental company is taking its business into the Caucasus, on the southeastern edge of Europe. Enterprise Holdings, best known for its Enterprise, National and Alamo rental car brands, has signed a franchise partnership with TravelCar in Armenia.

As a result, all three Enterprise brands will soon be available to customers the Armenian capital Yerevan, as well as in the adjacent international airport. Within the next twelve months, TravelCar aims to open additional locations throughout Armenia, and open up service in Tblisi, the capital of neighbouring Georgia, and its international airport.

This latest franchise partnership is part of Enterprise's wider strategy to build a robust network of transportation services to business and leisure travelers around the globe.

In the beginning of 2012, Enterprise operated in just three European countries – the UK, Ireland and Germany. Today, it is available in more than 40 countries throughout Europe and the Middle East, and in more than 85 countries and territories worldwide.
